Job description

Start Date: As soon as credentials are issued
Schedule: 3–7 shifts per month

Responsibilities
Provide inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage (INPATIENT COVERAGE)
Serve as backup call support for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).
Manage and support high-risk obstetrical deliveries.
Work closely with Certified Nurse Midwives, who take the first call and are surgical first assist trained.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 24/7 anesthesiology, neonatology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists.
Respond to callback needs while maintaining required proximity (15 minutes) to the hospital.

Practice Details
Approximately 600 annual deliveries.
EMR: Meditech.
