About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through 24-hour weekend call coverage at this rural facility. Primary responsibilities include managing approximately 760 deliveries annually with focus on OB complications, cesarean sections, and emergency gynecologic consultations from the emergency department. The position requires handling cases beyond midwife capabilities and providing after-hours coverage while collaborating with advanced practice providers who serve as first call for routine deliveries. Documentation will be completed using EPIC EMR system with high-risk and premature pregnancies under 25 weeks transferred to appropriate tertiary facilities.
