24-hour in-house call coverage
30-minute response time
Approximately 3–5 patients seen per 24 hours
3–5 phone consults per 24 hours
Approximately 1–2 admissions per 24 hours
Inpatient setting
Admissions and rounding required
Cerner EMR
15-bed department
10 RNs providing clinical support
Level II Trauma Center
Peds Level III
Stroke-certified hospital
No APP supervision
No resident/teaching responsibilities

• Low Volume – 5 Patients/Shift
• Level II Trauma Center
• No APP or Resident Supervision
