Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity with a full-time need; preference for one provider, but open to two providers covering 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- Coverage includes both inpatient and outpatient settings with clinic and call responsibilities
- Clinic days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with shift times of 8am-5pm
- Providers will be expected to cover 8 call shifts per month, including weeknight beeper call and one weekend of 24-hour beeper call
- 24-hour call shift times run 7am-7am; night call shift times run 5pm-7am
- Guaranteed 8 hours per day; overtime applies after 9 hours
- Approximately 0-2 deliveries expected per 24-hour call shift
- Both OB and GYN privileges are required; providers must supply sufficient case logs from the past 24 months to obtain privileges
- Responsibilities include in-office procedures, minor GYN procedures, and OR surgeries, including emergency ectopic cases
- Up to 15 patient encounters per shift
- Must have an active Oregon medical license; no IMLC accepted
- Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- DEA required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- Virtual interview with the clinical team required; please ensure availability for interviews over the next two weeks
- Required clinical skills include: low risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening), routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), decision-making for c-section, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, and office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
