OBGYN needed in Oregon

Job description

Specialty: OB Laborist
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: FT. LOCUMS to PERM preferred
Shift Details: 24hr shifts
Schedule: 11-13 24hr shifts/month
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Midwives, 24hr in house Anesthesiologist.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 11-13
· Patients per day: 2300 deliveries on average/year. Around 30-40/month for this OB group. Another 30-40/month for the midwifery group. 2 other provider groups that also work out of this facility.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborn-Adult
· Department Description: High volume of monthly deliveries. Will cover all labor and delivery. Should be comfortable to treat emergent cases as well as triage. Hospital has a level 3 NICU
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: C-sections and high risk births. No GYN procedures. Strictly labor and delivery

· Specific travel client will pay for: Travel and lodging.
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active OR license required. Will consider non-licensed depending on if it’s in process and timeline. Urgent need so would like someone already licensed to expedite credentialing.
· DEA: Required
· Certifications Required: NRP, ACLS, BLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days.
