Opportunity Overview – OB/GYN Locums
Duration: October 17 - Ongoing
Schedule: 24hr call coverage from 7a-7a. Looking for 1-3 weekends per month
Call requirements: Yes 24hr OB call
Scope of practice: OB call coverage from hotel, deliveries/emergencies - both vaginal and c-sections
Required: Routine Prenatal Assessment & Care, Routine Intrapartum Care (Including Labor Management)
Routine Delivery: Vaginal, Forceps/Vacuum
Low Risk Pregnancy, OB Ultrasounds - Interpretation, Performance, Management & Treatment of Vulvar Diseases, Vaginal Disease, Cervical & Uterine Disease, Tubal Disease, Ovarian Disease, Urogynecologic Disease
Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Multiple Births, Placental Abruptions, VBAC, Repair of 1st & 2nd Degree Lacerations, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
Volume: 900 deliveries/year
EMR: Epic
Affiliated Hospital: Level III Trauma Center
Group/support: Full support staff - will be the only OB
Requirements (boards, license): BC/BE with an active OK license, clean NPDB strongly preferred for ease of privileging. Temps not being offered for this position. Epic experience strongly preferred
