OBGYN need in Ohio

Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed

Contract: Ongoing

Schedule:

1–2 weeks per month
Mix of daytime onsite coverage and evening/weekend call
24-hour call shifts (7:00a–7:00a)
Monday–Friday: daytime rounding followed by overnight beeper call

Setting:
Hospital-based inpatient OB/GYN
EMR: Epic

Patient Volume:

15–20 outpatient visits per day
1–2 deliveries per day (approximately 50–60 deliveries/month)

Support Staff:

Nursing staff
Additional physician available for surgical assistance if needed

Responsibilities:

Labor & Delivery coverage
Postpartum rounding
Manage spontaneous labor and deliveries
Perform scheduled and emergent C-sections
General OB/GYN procedures
ER gynecology call as assigned
Minimally invasive and laparoscopic GYN surgery
Circumcisions are a plus

Facility Highlights:

6 Labor & Delivery beds
Approximately 500 deliveries annually
80% OB / 20% GYN
Level I Nursery
High-risk patients are transferred to tertiary facilities
