The facility features a 10-bed LDRP unit, 3 postpartum beds, and 1 triage room, supported by a collaborative team of physicians and CNMs dedicated to women's health and newborn care.

Physician - OB/GYN

Job Details:

• Locum tenens opportunity providing on-call OB/GYN coverage across multiple scheduled date ranges from August through January
• Coverage location includes Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery call
• Call is not in-house
• Weekends are part of the schedule
• Unit consists of 10 LDRP beds, 3 postpartum beds, and 1 triage room
• Practice supported by 2 physicians and 5 CNMs
• Case mix includes 40%-50% GYN with 1-4 GYN surgeries per day
• C-section rate ranges from 15%-35%
• Average nursery admissions per day: 2-5 newborns; average daily census of 3-4 newborns and 0-1 pediatric patients every 2 months
• 12-bed normal newborn nursery; no Special Care Nursery on site
• Providers MUST be able to complete C-sections and all OB/GYN related surgeries, including scheduled procedures
• Documentation system: EPIC
• 60-90 day credentialing timeframe depending on application submission speed and provider history; emergency temporary privileges possible for providers with a clean background
• Active Ohio license and DEA required
• Board Certification required
• NRP and ACLS required
• Flu vaccine required; COVID vaccine preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation, dated within 30 days of submission
• Lodging provided at approximately $150/night; all other travel reimbursed at standard/economy rates
