Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for an ongoing locum opportunity in Ohio. This position offers a balanced beeper call schedule, collaboration with an experienced team of midwives, and a steady mix of obstetric and gynecologic responsibilities at a 250-bed hospital.

🗓 Assignment Details

Start Date: December 26, 2025

Contract Length: Ongoing

Coverage Needed: 1 weekday per week + 4th weekend each month

Shift Type: Beeper call

Schedule:

Mon–Fri, 7a–7p: Supervise midwives

Mon–Fri, 7p–7a: Primary call

Weekday Call: 24-hour out-of-house (must live within 30 minutes)

Weekend Call: Friday 7a–Monday 7a (no midwife coverage)

🏥 Role & Responsibilities

Supervise a team of five certified midwives during daytime hours

Manage Labor & Delivery, ED patients, and emergent clinic calls while on call

Perform C-sections, VBACs, vaginal deliveries, and emergent GYN surgeries as needed

Average volume: 1–3 vaginal deliveries and 5–10 clinic calls per call shift

Patients/day: 0–2 deliveries

EMR: EPIC

Hospital Size: 250 beds

✅ Requirements

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN

Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ (required to submit)

DEA: Required

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Credentialing: Emergency privileges available
