About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) at an on-site facility, with coverage dates open across October, November, and December 2026 and January and February 2027. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic cases, covering the emergency room, performing circumcisions (preferred), and performing D&C procedures for miscarriages; the facility does not perform terminations. The facility averages approximately 1,000 deliveries per year, with 2-3 deliveries per day, and operates a 24/7 midwife model ensuring a physician and midwife are in house at all times. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable; prescriptive authority is required, and clinicians must maintain a clean file for temporary privileges consideration.
