Facility:
This well-established hospital serves the Washington, Missouri community with a comprehensive women's health and obstetrics department. The facility features a 16-bed department including 8 LDRP beds and 8 couplet/GYN beds, supported by a robust nursing staff with a 1:1 ratio during labor, and an experienced on-site NP and office team of 16 staff members.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage needed every 5th weekend, Friday 5pm through Monday 5am
- Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
- Active Missouri medical license required with clean NPDB and malpractice history
- Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible considered
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
- FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE required
- OB Ultrasounds - performance and interpretation required, including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Amniocentesis required
- Routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections required
- Complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs required
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations required
- Office/minor gynecology including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP required
- Surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures required
- Operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
