Locum OBGYN - Flexible Schedule & Full Support in Mississippi

Job description

Odyssey Staffing is seeking a board-certified OBGYN physician with fellowship training for locum coverage at a facility in Mississippi.

Dates & schedule:
- October 15–19 plus five additional days
- Thanksgiving week (Wednesday–Sunday)
- December 24–28
- Ongoing option: Wednesday–Sunday two times per month

Scope of work:
- Outpatient and inpatient coverage with beeper call
- Routine and complicated deliveries
- High-risk obstetrics and fetal monitoring (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasounds (Level I and II)
- C-sections (breech, multiples and complicated cases)
- Gynecologic surgeries (open and laparoscopic tubals, LOAs, ectopics, cystectomies and more)

Requirements:
- Board certification and OBGYN fellowship
- Active Mississippi license or IMLC eligibility
- ACLS and BLS (NRP and fetal monitoring preferred)
- Experience with MEDHOST EMR; credentialing ~60 days
