Schedule:
24-hour in-house call coverage
12-hour or 24-hour shifts available
Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend coverage possible
Provider must specify availability for shifts

Clinical Details:
Practice Setting: Float Pool
Patient Population: High-risk obstetrics
Department Description:
Covers Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) service and urgent OB needs
Approximately 11-12 deliveries per day
Level II nursery
OB Hospitalists co-manage patients with MFM specialists and cover labor and delivery care
ECMO-level care cases are rare and managed primarily by MFM and ICU teams
Delivery responsibility varies by acuity and setting
Supportive collaboration with other OB providers, including CNMs and clinic OBGYNs
24/7 access to maternal fetal medicine specialists
Technology: Epic (Excellian) and Obix for electronic fetal monitoring
Requirements:
Board certified in OB/GYN
Valid Minnesota license required
BLS certification required
Trauma Level I or II experience required
Open to generalists interested in high-risk cases with full MFM support
Willing to license: Yes
IMLC acceptance required if no MN license
