The facilities operate at Trauma Level I and Level II designations and are committed to delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to the communities they serve.

Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity providing ongoing call coverage support across three Michigan locations: Gaylord, Cadillac, and Charlevoix - coverage of all three sites is required
- Coverage needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month with 24-hour call shifts running 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- 100% inpatient and hospital-based practice setting in a rural environment
- Average daily patient volume of 2 to 5 patients depending on census and acuity
- Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural inpatient setting with minimal supervision
- Manage routine vaginal deliveries and perform cesarean sections
- Manage obstetric emergencies with broad scope OB/GYN experience
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Active Michigan Medical License required at time of submission - candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA
- Clean malpractice history required with no exceptions
- EMR system: Oracle
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days; temporary privileges available
- Lodging, mileage reimbursement at IRS rate, and rental car provided
- Michigan residents preferred
Compensation:
