The facilities operate at Trauma Level I and Level II designations and are committed to delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to the communities they serve.

Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity providing ongoing call coverage support across three Michigan locations: Gaylord, Cadillac, and Charlevoix - coverage of all three sites is required
• Coverage needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month with 24-hour call shifts running 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 100% inpatient and hospital-based practice setting in a rural environment
• Average daily patient volume of 2 to 5 patients depending on census and acuity
• Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural inpatient setting with minimal supervision
• Manage routine vaginal deliveries and perform cesarean sections
• Manage obstetric emergencies with broad scope OB/GYN experience
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Active Michigan Medical License required at time of submission - candidates requiring licensure will not be considered
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA
• Clean malpractice history required with no exceptions
• EMR system: Oracle
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days; temporary privileges available
• Lodging, mileage reimbursement at IRS rate, and rental car provided
• Michigan residents preferred
