The facility features an experienced OB department with seasoned nurses having 10+ years of obstetric care experience and maintains a focus on teamwork with an excellent culture.

Job Details:
• Inpatient OBGYN hospitalist position with hospital employment
• Work 10-24 hour shifts per month with 10 on-site hour requirement
• No outpatient responsibilities - focus on inpatient care
• Rounding covers consults, deliveries, and admissions
• Work in conjunction with independent OB group
• Call schedule 1:4 with addition of laborist coverage
• On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers
• Handle average of 50 deliveries per month
• V-Backs are provided with C-sections performed in the OR
• OR team available 24/7 for immediate surgical needs
• 24/7 Pediatric and Cardiology coverage with fulltime pediatric cardiologist on-site
• Level IIIA NICU staffed with 3 Neonatologists and 3 APPs
• Mobile transport team available
• Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University
• Work with medical students and family practice residents
• Residents on site in OB 24/7
