Locum OBGYN/Hospitalist Opportunity in Michigan

Job description

Schedule:
24-hour in-house shifts, start at 6:45 AM (shift runs 6:45 AM – 7:00 AM next day)
Must be able to cover the following dates:
November 27, 28, 29
December 24, 29, 31
Ongoing sporadic coverage TBD
Cannot work back-to-back shifts (24 hours off between shifts required)
Position Details:
Nursery Level 2
NICU Level 2
Deliveries at 32 weeks with in-house Neonatologist consultation (otherwise transfer)
Elective Induction of Labor with Pitocin
No APPs or midwives on staff
Supervising other healthcare providers and working with residents
Onsite Lab & Ultrasound
EMR: Epic
Approx. 2,000 deliveries per year (about 130–160/month, averaging 5–10 per 24-hour shift)
Birthing center handles approx. 1,600 deliveries annually
Travel & Lodging:
Flight provided
Hotel reimbursed up to $200/night after taxes & fees (preferred hotel list available)
Rental car or mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified OBGYN – Required
Active Michigan license – Required (cannot accept candidates needing to apply)
Must be available for listed dates – Required
2–3 years of experience – Required
ACLS, BLS – Required
NRP – Required
