Facility:
This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the southeastern Idaho region, featuring a 10-bed department and a Level 2 trauma designation. The facility houses a Level 3 NICU and maintains high-risk antepartum patients, with MFM resources and services available through an on-campus clinic to support comprehensive women's health care.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide call coverage support for OB/GYN patient care needs on a locum tenens basis
• September schedule includes dates on the 10th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, and 23rd; shifts on the 18th-20th are 24-hour shifts, all others are 5pm-7am shifts
• Additional dates needed each month through December starting in September
• Manage clinical needs of patients who may be seen by FM residents, with the attending supervising physician being a FM Hospitalist
• Handle both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Provide routine and complicated delivery services including vaginal, low forceps, and cesarean sections
• Manage complex deliveries including breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Decision-making for c-sections required
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 45 days upon completion of med staff application
• Must hold an active Idaho license or IMLC to be considered
