This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the southeastern Idaho region, featuring a 10-bed department and a Level 2 trauma designation. The facility houses a Level 3 NICU and maintains high-risk antepartum patients, with MFM resources and services available through an on-campus clinic to support comprehensive women's health care.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Provide call coverage support for OB/GYN patient care needs on a locum tenens basis
- September schedule includes dates on the 10th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, and 23rd; shifts on the 18th-20th are 24-hour shifts, all others are 5pm-7am shifts
- Additional dates needed each month through December starting in September
- Manage clinical needs of patients who may be seen by FM residents, with the attending supervising physician being a FM Hospitalist
- Handle both low and high risk pregnancies
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation capabilities
- Perform amniocentesis procedures
- Provide routine and complicated delivery services including vaginal, low forceps, and cesarean sections
- Manage complex deliveries including breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Decision-making for c-sections required
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
- Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 45 days upon completion of med staff application
- Must hold an active Idaho license or IMLC to be considered
