Aya Locums is seeking an OBGYN MD/DO for locum coverage in Jacksonville, FL.

Job description

This role offers 24-hour call shifts starting mid-December or January. The team is open to scheduling a string of 24-hour call shifts in a row.

Setting:
Modern acute care hospital with 6 LDRP rooms, 12 post-partum rooms, and 2 dedicated C-section surgical suites. Level I NICU and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

Responsibilities Include:
Full-scope outpatient obstetrical and gynecological care
Multiple venues for gynecological surgery
Collaborative OB/CNM practice model
Support from a comprehensive care team (LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, and specialists)
Innovative tech platforms for patient engagement and provider efficiency
Continuing education integrated into the Diana Health program
Back-up call coverage provided by OB/GYN team and PRN pool for vacations and extended leaves

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology
Active FL medical license and DEA
At least one year of experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-centered approach with shared decision-making values

Schedule:

24-hour call shifts (7 am–7 am)
Day shift designation
Standard shift schedule
