This healthcare system operates a comprehensive medical plaza and medical center that provides full-service obstetrics and gynecology care to the Colorado Springs community. The facility features modern technology including Epic documentation systems, onsite ultrasound services, and a collaborative team environment with 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-level providers.

Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYN

Job Details:
• Schedule includes hospital coverage (8am to 8am) and clinic hours (8am to 5pm)
• Call schedule: 1 in 5 days; 1 in 10 overnight and weekends with 24-hour in-house coverage
• Manage diverse caseload: 70% low risk pregnancy, 10% high risk pregnancy, 30% C-sections
• See approximately 20 clinic patients per day with 8 deliveries per week
• Perform approximately 8 OB/GYN surgeries per week
• Required obstetrics procedures: low risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Required labor and delivery procedures: routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, C-section decision-making
• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Manage VBACs and repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Preferred procedures include high risk pregnancy management and OB ultrasound interpretation
• Office/minor gynecology procedures preferred including IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP
• Work alongside other OB/GYNs during coverage periods
• Utilize Epic documentation system for both clinic and hospital settings
• Board certification in OB/GYN required with active Colorado license or IMLC
• Clean background check and current NPDB self-query required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
