ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2639200
• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Start: December
• Length of commitment: 6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: 8-10 shifts per month
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (5p-7a); Saturday and Sunday (7a-5p)
• Support staff: staffed 24/7 with attending physician and midwives, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, 2 CRNA dedicated to labor and delivery and 1 Anesthesia attending in house at all times.
• Patients per day: approximatly13 deliveries per day
• Patient population/age: primarily adult women, antepartum
• EMR: EPIC
• Procedures Required: vaginal deliveries, scheduled and emergency c-sections, post-partum hemorrhage medically and surgically, heavy focus on OB side, ectopic pregnancy, D and C.
• Additional Info: approximately 400 deliveries per month; will labor patients who have had prior c-sections; MFM consultation and ability to transfer stable patients; Mixed model between attendings and midwives; High volume of medically and socially complex population.
• Practice Setting: 550 bed Hospital - Level I trauma center, Level 3 Nursery, delivery unit is 15 beds with 3 operating rooms in PACU
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active CO, ACLS, BLS, DEA/CSR, 3 years of experience
