Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive OBGYN coverage both in clinic and hospital deliveries 3-4 days per week
• Work hours between 8:30am-4pm each day with guaranteed 8 hours per day
• Handle 18-20 patient encounters per shift in clinic setting
• Provide on-call coverage 3-4 days per week (5pm-7am weekdays or 24-hour weekend call)
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery capabilities
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, and VBACs
• Handle pregnancy complications including abruptions and decision-making for c-sections
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE and OB ultrasounds (Level I screening)
• Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations and low forceps deliveries
• Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures (tubal ligation, ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal)
• Must have case logs for credentialing and maintain active California license and DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 90-day credentialing timeframe with June start date targeted
• Overtime applies after 8 hours per day
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
