OB Hospitalist – Night Shifts | California

Join a leading hospital in California as an OB Hospitalist and enjoy a steady schedule, collaborative team environment, and meaningful work caring for women and families.

Position Highlights

Consistent Schedule: 13-hour night shifts (7p–8a) with no call required; 5–10 shifts per month.

Clinical Variety: Manage 5–8 active labor patients per night, plus 1–2 ED consults; Epic EMR.

Supportive Practice: Bread-and-butter OB hospitalist work with midwife collaboration; operative delivery experience (including forceps) preferred.

Position Details

Setting: Hospital

Patient Population: Adult

Procedures: Bread-and-butter OB hospitalist; management of complications from abortions (not performance).

Preferred Skills: Experience working with midwives; Spanish-speaking skills a plus.

Requirements

Board Certification: ABOG BC strongly preferred; truly BE considered

Licensure: Active CA medical license required

DEA: Active CA DEA required

Certifications: BLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years as an OB Hospitalist

Credentialing: 90 days
