OBGYN Locum - 1 week per month - Clinic + Call

Assignment Details:

Orientation: 4/13/2026 (paid at clinic rate)

Start Date: 4/14/2026

Duration: 6 months

FTE: 0.25 (no more than one week/month)

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Privileges: Clinic and Hospital

Schedule & Call:

Clinic: 8-hour days

24-hour call with 8-hour clinic day

Weekend call (2 hours gratis)

Call-back coverage as needed

Facility Details:

25-bed hospital

5 Labor & Delivery beds

Average clinic volume: ~10 patients/day

Average L&D volume: 0–2 deliveries/day

Clinical Responsibilities:

Full-scope general OB/GYN

Rounding and admissions

No expectation for scheduled surgeries unless assisting or needed as an additional hand

Patient population: Primarily adults; some pediatric and geriatric patients

Support & Coverage:

Always a second OB/GYN on call

24/7 Emergency Department coverage

Hospitalist support on site

Requirements:

MD or DO

Active Alaska license (required for submission)

Active DEA

BLS (AHA or Red Cross)

Recent clinical activity within the last 24 months (case logs required)

EMR: EPIC
