🌸 Locums OB/GYN Opportunity – Alaska

Job description

Start Date: October 29, 2025 (orientation 10/28/2025)
Duration: Through at least January 12, 2026 (approved for up to 6 months)
License: Active Alaska license required at time of submission (expedited credentialing requested)
EMR: Epic

🔹 Position Highlights

Balanced Schedule: 8-hour clinic days (8a–5p) with 24-hour call in 2–3 day stretches, plus clinic in between.

Supportive Environment: 25-bed hospital with 5 L&D beds, 24/7 ED, hospitalist coverage, and another OB/GYN always on call.

Varied Practice Mix: Inpatient & outpatient coverage, full-scope OB/GYN, rounding, admissions, clinic patients (avg. 10/day), and 0–2 deliveries/day.

Privileges: Both hospital & clinic required

Patient Population: Primarily adult, some pediatric & geriatric

Procedures: General OB/GYN; no scheduled surgeries unless assisting another provider
