About the clinician's workday

The physician associate will provide outpatient OB/GYN coverage Monday through Friday from 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 20-22 patients per day within an established practice of 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers. Clinic scheduling includes 30-minute appointments for new patients and 15-minute appointments for returning patients, with 2 new patient slots per half day. Clinical responsibilities encompass routine GYN care, annual visits, postpartum visits, abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, non-complex ovarian cysts, colposcopy, and LEEP procedures, as well as other simple in-office GYN procedures for adequately experienced clinicians. No call is required, and the clinician will be expected to respond to codes on-site.
