Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Locums Opportunity – Cookeville, TN
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: End of August
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Either:
Monday–Thursday, or
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (rotating Fridays to different clinic)
No Call
Practice Details
Outpatient Women's Health clinic
Approximately 21–23 patients per day
EMR: Athena
AI Ambience Scribe provided
Work collaboratively with:
OB/GYN physicians
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Clinical Responsibilities
Antepartum care throughout all trimesters
Well-woman exams
Preventive gynecologic care
Contraceptive counseling and management
Care coordination with the multidisciplinary Women's Health team
Comfortable managing high-risk OB patients in collaboration with the supervising physician
General gynecologic care
Requirements
Board-Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Active Tennessee NP license
Active Tennessee DEA
Experience in Women's Health, including:
Prenatal care
Well-woman exams
Contraceptive management
Additional Information
Must be willing to rotate to the other clinic, approximately 20 minutes when needed.
Any overtime must be approved by the Practice Manager and Regional Director.
