Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Needed in Florida

Job description

Nurse Practitioner – Women’s Health (Outpatient)
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (credentialing can be completed within 1–2 weeks)
Contract Length: 13 weeks; potential ongoing need

Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:00–17:00 (8‑hour day shifts)
No call
Full‑time only (part‑time not accepted)


Practice Details

Outpatient women’s health clinic
Mix of new and established patients
Team structure includes OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, and a licensed clinical social worker
Clinical focus includes antepartum care and general gynecological care
WHNP must be comfortable managing standard OB/GYN clinic patients
Procedures include:

IUD placements and removals
Nexplanon insertions/removals


EMR: Athena
Single clinic site


Clinical Scope

Evaluate and manage outpatient women’s health and OB/GYN patients
Conduct routine and follow‑up visits
Perform women’s health procedures consistent with WHNP scope
Interpret labs and clinical findings
Develop and document care plans in Athena
Coordinate care with clinic team to support efficient patient flow


Requirements

Nurse Practitioner — Women’s Health
Active Florida license required
Board certification required
DEA required
Experience in outpatient OB/GYN preferred
Ability to independently manage a steady outpatient caseload


Credentialing

Estimated 1–2‑week timeframe
