Certified Nurse Midwife – TN (Locums)

Start Date: January
Contract Length: 3 months, with option to extend
Schedule: 4–8 shifts/month | 12-hr & 24-hr shifts available
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in clinic and hospital settings

Provide leadership and expertise on L&D, including in-house coverage

Triage and care for emergent OB patients alongside RNs and physicians

Optional: first-assist surgical support

Participate in QI initiatives and high-acuity skills training

EMR: Paragon

Requirements:

Active AMCB certification

Current RN and APRN licenses (TN or willing to obtain – licensing supported!)

BLS required; NRP preferred

Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage care

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Additional certifications (OB ultrasound, fetal monitoring, lactation) a plus
