Locums – Certified Nurse Midwife (Outpatient) | Tennessee

Job description

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months with the option to extend
Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p
Shift Type: Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Details

Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic

Comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services

Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and other specialists

Provide leadership and day-to-day expertise on Labor & Delivery including in-house clinical coverage

Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients with RN and OB/GYN support

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, skills training, and drills for high-acuity/low-frequency events

EMR: Paragon

Qualifications / Requirements

Active TN Medical License – Required

Certified Nurse Midwife (AMCB) with current RN & APRN license in TN

Experience managing OB/GYN patients in an outpatient clinic setting

Strong collaborative and communication skills

Certifications:

BLS required (by start date)

NRP preferred (not required)

Additional training (Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, Lactation Consultation) preferred
