Schedule

Shifts:

12-hour: 7a–7p or 7p–7a

24-hour: 7a–7a

Volume: 4–10 shifts per month

Job Duties

Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care (OB & GYN)

Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and other specialists

Provide expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, including in-house coverage

Triage and manage emergent obstetric patients alongside RNs and OB/GYNs

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend drills for high acuity/low frequency events

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in hospital setting preferred

Licensure: Active Florida RN & APRN license required

Board Certification: AMCB Certified Nurse Midwife

Certifications:

BLS (required by start date)

NRP (preferred, not required)

Additional certifications in OB Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Lactation Consultation (preferred)
