Midwife Needed in Denver, CO:
Start Date: Feb 2026
(potential Jan start if creds move quickly)
Contract Length: 2 months
Shift Details: 3-4 days per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with 1 hour unpaid lunch
Amount of coverage needed per month: 3-4 days per week. Will vary but schedules will be known a month in advance.
Department description: Women’s Health/OB
Special procedures: IUD insertion, Nexplanon, ultrasound, paracervical blocks would be a plus but not a must.
Skills required: This is a very low-income population, very sick people, behavioral health comorbidities, high Spanish speaking population (huge plus if they’re bilingual). Need someone who is comfortable in this environment.
Requirements:
Board Certification: must be certified nurse midwife
DEA: Yes
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
Minimum experience required: 2 years preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Active CO License
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
