Job description
🧠 Neurologist Opportunity – Washington State
🕒 Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Minimum 2 weeks per month
One week of call per month (includes 24-hour weekends and weeknight coverage)
Call type: Beeper, response within 20 minutes
🏥 Setting
Outpatient/Inpatient mix
Stroke-certified hospital
Level III Trauma Center
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 1 RN, 10 Medical Assistants, other neurologists and physicians
📊 Patient Volume
Outpatient: ~15 patients per day
Inpatient backup: 3–7 patients per day
Team includes 3 other neurologists
⚙️ Clinical & Procedural Requirements
EEG interpretation and brain death exams required
TOUCH prescribing system certification required
Experience in Multiple Sclerosis required
Preferred experience with:
Electromyogram (EMG)
Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) tests
Evoked potentials
Peripheral nerve blocks
✅ Qualifications
Board Certified Neurologist
Fellowship preferred
Licensed in Washington or IMLC
⏳ Credentialing
Approximately 90 days
