Job description

Neurohospitalist

Coverage Dates:
• September 2–8, 2026
• October 14–20, 2026
• November 11–17, 2026
• December 9–15, 2026
• January 6–12, 2027
• February 3–9, 2027

Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage as needed for patient care (typically 8-10 hour days)
• Weekend call from Saturday morning through Monday morning
• Stroke call coverage 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Friday

• 100% inpatient Neurohospitalist practice
• Epic EMR

Practice Details:
• Inpatient Neurohospitalist service
• 4-17 patients per day
• Clinical focus includes inpatient neurology, stroke evaluations, telestroke coverage, and tPA decision-making
• Stroke activations covered during daytime shifts
• Overnight stroke coverage handled by an established telestroke program

Requirements:
• Board Certified Neurologist
• Neurohospitalist experience preferred
• Comfortable managing acute stroke patients and tPA decision-making
