Neurosurgery - 24 Trauma Coverage

Job description

• Start date: 2/3/2025
• Support staff:
• Coverage Type: Provider will cover 24-Hour trauma coverage to start ASAP
• Schedule Details: Need 10 - 15 shifts per month. 24 hour trauma coverage. Must be available to cover ED and trauma.

Work Details:
• Avg. Daily Census: 2 admissions on call – telephone and 30 min response. Low volume call. AVG Patient Census 4-5 patients
*AVG Number of Calls per Night: less than 5 phone calls on between the hours of 7p-7a. *AVG Number of Consults per Night: maybe 1-2 over a 3-day period
*Rounding requirements: less than 10 patients
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: cases seen are MVC, spinal fractures, ground level falls, Subdermal hematomas
