ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2699376
• Location: Cumberland, MD
• Target Start: December or January start
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Coverage Type: Provider will cover 24-Hour trauma coverage
• Schedule Details: 10 - 15 shifts per month. 24-hour trauma coverage. Must be available to cover ED and trauma.
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Average Daily Census: 2 admissions on call – telephone and 30 min response. Low volume call.
• Average Patient Census: 4-5 patients
• Average Number of Calls per Night: less than 5 phone calls on between the hours of 7p-7a.
• Average Number of Consults per Night: maybe 1-2 over a 3-day period
Rounding requirements: less than 10 patients
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: cases seen are MVC, spinal fractures, ground level falls, Subdermal hematomas
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active MD License or IMLC, BLS, DEA/CSR
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
