Neonatologist needed in Maryland

Job description

Specialty: NICU
Start Date: 7/1/2025. End 8/31/2025. Potential to extend.
Contract Length: 2 months, potential to extend
Shift Details: Need 20-30 shifts covered a month total between the two locations. Level 3 NICU. Census: 22-24. There are 2 neonatologists during the day and 1 at night. EMR is Cerner. 3500 deliveries a year. Nictric. High frequency. There will be some simple surgeries (like hernia repair, nothing complicated). No call.
Requirements: NRP certified. Need to be able to do innovations, umbilical lines, etc. Do not need to be NIB care certified. Have to have at least a level 3 NICU experience from the last three years.
Interview process: We will schedule a call with the Chief of Regional Based Specialties. He will want to know about their background and experience and will ask them clinical questions. He typically likes to schedule an interview within 24 hours of receiving and approving a presentation. He will then connect with 1 or 2 references within 48 hours and make an offer within another 72 business hours.
Board Certification: Board certification in Neonatology is required.
State license required: MD license required (IMLC also accepted)
Credentialing Timeframe: 45- 90 days. The need begins in July.
