Neonatology NP/PA need in West Reading, PA

Shift Details: Call Only
EMR: EPIC
Active PA license PALS NRP DEA
Schedule: 12-14 open shifts of 12 hours (7pm to 7am) including weekdays and weekends
Patients per day: 19
Hospital bed size: 30

· Skills required: attendance to deliveries, fielding any prenatal consults, responding to any
· emergencies for babies already in the NICU, and admitting and helping manage and stabilize any new
· patients, including some procedures. Endotracheal intubation, delivery room resuscitation, umbilical lines, PICC lines, PIVs, peripheral arterial lines, thoracocentesis and chest tube placement, lumbar puncture. ability to provide anticipatory guidance and counseling to parents of NICU babies. ventilator management, TPN. Fluid and electrolyte management
