Location: In North Carolina, close proximity to Charlotte which allows visitors to take advantage of big-city amenities while enjoying a comfortable stay in a place with small-city charm. Facility: Medical center consist of 16 emergency department treatment rooms 54 inpatient beds 48 medical telemetry beds 6 labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum 12-bed observation unit 2 operating rooms C-section suite Endo/Bronchoscopy suite Imaging Suite - Nuclear stress test, CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound A brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, scheduled to open late 2024! Opportunity: Daily rounds in house and will take call from homeThis Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year An average daily census of about 5 newborns NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs Team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 Neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away Compensation: A competitive compensation package with many locations offering sign on bonuses, relocation and tuition reimbursement (to be discussed at interview).
