Neonatology NP needed in Denver, CO

Hello, this is Alisha, Sr. Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out about a new NNP needed in Denver!

Contract Length: 3 months, option to extend, 12/9 start
Shift Details: Flexible Scheduling - 4x12hr shifts per week; 7p-7a; blocked schedules; may also consider 3x24hr shifts scheduled every other week. Friday-Sunday is preferred but they are open.

Work Details:
• Support staff: resus nurse, charge nurse, and RT available as needed; first or second year resident assigned to the NICU, a 3rd year resident in house, and a neonatologist on call from home (within 30 minutes of the hospital). Need providers with strong resuscitation skills and who are very experienced in the delivery room.

• Patients per day: census is anywhere from 15-25
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 525 beds
• Skills required: Perform newborn resuscitations, placement of arterial and venous lines in chest tubes, intubation of term, preterm, and extremely low birth weight infants, and in ventilator management, particularly volume ventilation and high frequency ventilation. Will occasionally ask NNP to help with routine circumcisions
