The Nursery was one of the first NICU's in the world.

The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) devoted to providing the most advanced care available to critically ill infants. As a certified level IV regional NICU there is ability to provide all levels of newborn care, from basic to most intensive, and draw patients from across the region.

The neonatal heart program is one of the largest in the country, treating almost 200 newborns with heart disease each year. The ICN is a Regional Intensive Care Nursery and works with a network of 24 hospitals in Northern California to provide neonatology care.

12 hr shifts. NNP-BC certification.
Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization.
Minimum one (1) year of recent Neonate NP experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or recent completion of a Neonatal ICU Fellowship.
Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner 1.
