Job description

Duties: Primarily med onc and hem patients
Call Coverage on weekends
Procedures: Consults, follow-ups - possible bone marrow
Call Type: beeper with some consultation.
What is the average patient census per clinic shift?15-23
night call patient census?1-2
What does call look like in the week and weekend? Phone calls and sometimes need to round
Do you require BMT or BMB to be performed by the locum? Yes prefer, but can work around
Who admits new patients? Hospitalist
% of Hemonc versus to Medical Onc 40/60
Any Acute Leukemia? Or Malignant Hem? No
Will emergency privs be offered for the open dates within 60 days? Yes
EMR is Epic
Mix of inpatient and outpatient
