Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner – Short-Term Assignment in CA

Job description

An experienced NP/PA is needed to join an outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic starting November 3rd for a several-month coverage period. The provider will deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative team environment focused on cancer treatment and management.

This is a Monday–Friday, 8-hour day position (8am–12pm, 1pm–5pm) in a busy ambulatory setting, caring for an average of 15–18 patients per day. The practice is supported by a skilled team of MAs, LVNs, and other clinical staff, and uses Epic EMR.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ambulatory or clinic experience, hold an active DEA, and maintain BLS or ACLS certification. Local candidates with a clean background and no malpractice claims are required. Prior Hematology/Oncology experience is strongly preferred.
