Cardiologist needed in Augusta, GA! $325/hour + Travel and Lodging!

Job description

Support staff: 7 MD’s (1 working in concert with the locums MD weekly) and 5 APPs (rotating schedules – minimum of 2 each week)
• Coverage Type: inpatient
• Schedule Details: Fri—Thurs working 7a-7p (seven days in a row) One night of call on the weekend

• Avg. Daily Census: 30 total encounters
• Beds: 350
• Patient Age Group: adults
• Procedures: none. Inpatient Cardiology rounding service. Consulting and doing follow ups during rounds. Patients admitted via hospitalist. Several physicians retired creating a shortage of available general Cardiologist to cover the inpatient rounding service line.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req: Yes, Cardiology
• State License(s): GA
• Certifications: ACLS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 2 year

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

• 13 week with possibility of extending
• On call required- One night
• 1 week on 1 week off schedule
