Locum Primary Care Physician Needed in Crownsville, Maryland

• Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule/Shift Details: Coverage needed ~8-10 hours per week total, 3-4 days per week
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
• Practice Setting: Mental Health Residential Treatment Center
• Patient Population: Adults only
• EMR: KIPU
• eRX: Dr. First
• Support Staff: Interdisciplinary treatment team

Job Overview:
• Aya Locums is seeking a Primary Care Provider for a Mental Health Residential Treatment Center to provide care for adult patients. The facility has a total census of 35 patients, with the expectation of growth to 50 patients over the course of the year. The treatment center consists of dormitories on a single property. This is an ongoing position with flexible hours. Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct history and physical exams for adult patients
• Prescribe medication and order labs as needed
• Review lab results and collaborate with the treatment team

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM)
• License: Active Maryland state medical license
• DEA: Required
• Experience: Experience in primary care and collaboration with mental health treatment teams preferred
