Looking for Internal Medicine/Family Medicine/General Practitioner locum tenens opportunities in Arizona?

Tucson, Arizona
Primary Care physician needed for full-time coverage (Corrections)
- Coverage dates: ASAP – 6-month initial contract, with the ability to extend
o Start date is dependent on completion of credentialing and background/security clearance
o Tentative credentialing timeframe: 8 weeks
- Weekly schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Average 12-15 patients per day, all adults
- Primary Care cases, sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage (hypertension/diabetes, etc.)
- Basic procedures required - light trauma cases such as suturing and casting
- Facility uses EMR
- Travel/lodging provided
-BLS required
