Job Description
A board certified/eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician is needed to join the Hospitalist Service at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The hospitalist group provides 24-hour Hospital Medicine coverage, including admissions, inpatient consultations, developing plans for a patient’s medical care and discharging patients. Our hospitalists work 12-hour shifts, seven consecutive days or nights, one week on/one week off. Critical Care/ICU experience is necessary since the Hospitalist Service is involved in covering our 16-bed combined medical/surgical ICU-CCU, especially during the evening shift. The Hospitalist Service takes care of patients from all areas of primary care, excluding pediatrics. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.
