Description:
A locum tenens Hospitalist opportunity is available for inpatient adult coverage due to short staffing and increased patient volume. This role offers consistent nocturnist shifts with a manageable census and no procedural requirements. The assignment begins June 1 with a brief orientation lasting approximately 6–8 hours. Physicians will utilize Epic Systems for all documentation and patient management.

This is an inpatient adult hospital setting located at 1200 S Columbia Road, Grand Forks, ND 58201. The facility is focused on providing high-quality acute care services and is currently expanding coverage to meet patient demand. The environment is structured, with a steady patient load and strong clinical support systems in place.

Compensation:
‣ Pay Rate: $210 - $220/Hr. - Details can be discussed further after applying to the job posting.
‣ Travel expenses reimbursed, including:

‣ Malpractice Covered

Job Responsibilities:
‣ Provide inpatient care for adult patients during overnight shifts
‣ Manage a daily census of approximately 16–18 patients
‣ Perform admissions, rounding, and cross-coverage as needed
‣ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
‣ Document all encounters accurately within the EMR
‣ No procedures required

Qualifications:
‣ Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM only; ABFM not accepted)
‣ Active North Dakota medical license preferred
‣ Will consider candidates through IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LoQ)
‣ DEA license (transferable preferred)
‣ Licensed providers will be prioritized

‣ 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
‣ 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
