TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This is a night-shift inpatient assignment within a collaborative hospital medicine team.

Team Size: 11 Physicians
Average Patient Census: 15 patients per provider per day
Average Admissions: 2-3 per provider during daytime shifts
Average Night Admissions: 4-6

December 25
December 26
December 27
December 28
December 29
Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Orientation: Required the day prior to the first scheduled shift

Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient hospital medicine coverage
Admissions and patient management during overnight hours
Traditional and interdisciplinary rounding
Consultations and inpatient care coordination
ICU/Critical Care coverage responsibilities
Management of ventilated patients preferred
Procedures are optional
Support Staff & Specialist Access
Critical Care Physician support available during morning hours
Tele-ICU support available during afternoons and weekends
Tele-Neurology support available for neurological cases
Stroke and intracranial hemorrhage patients managed in consultation with specialists
Access to local specialists, including:
Cardiology
Orthopedics
Nephrology
General Surgery
Urology
Infectious Disease
Psychiatry

Requirements
Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
Active state medical license
ACLS Certification Required (American Heart Association)
Experience with inpatient hospital medicine
Comfort with ICU and critical care management
Ventilator management experience preferred
Hospital credentialing required prior to start
