Southeastern Massachusetts' premier integrated healthcare system is currently seeking Internal Medicine/Hospitalist Providers. New Residents and Practicing physicians are welcome.

Hospitalist (Multiple Openings)

Hospitalists sought to provide in-hospital patient care as an internal medicine physician in accordance with requirements of the Hospital’s Hospitalist Program. The Employee’s clinical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: (i) care of patients admitted to the Hospital’s medical service, (ii) initial admission work-up (i.e., history and physical), (iii) follow up visits, (iv) discharge day visit, (v) consultation and follow up, as appropriate, for patients on other clinical services (for example: pre-operative evaluations), (vi) care of patients on the Hospital’s Transitional Care Unit (“TCU”) and (vii) performance of selected procedures for which the physician is privileged.



Will work seven (7) consecutive days (the “On Week”), to be followed by 7 consecutive days off (the “Off Week”). In general, at least two of the consecutive working days will constitute twelve (12) hour shifts each and the remaining will constitute ten (10) hour shifts each. Will also be responsible to be on call for back up duty for a one (1) week period. A qualified candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.



Joining a network of 550 providers and more than 2,500 employees, serving the healthcare needs of our diverse community of residents within the city and 26 surrounding communities. Located approximately 20 miles from Boston, the Network is comprised of the Hospital, a 263-bed community hospital, and the Medical Group, a multi-specialty ambulatory practice with 14 practice locations in the community.
