Responsibilities include rounding on 20-22 adult patients per shift within a 532-bed facility that carries a hospitalist census of approximately 370, encompassing ICU rounding, STEMI, Stroke, transplant cellular therapy, and complex cardiac cases; no trauma cases are included. A consulting physician is available on-site and sees 12-20 consults per day, and intensivists manage ICU patients, with no procedures required of the hospitalist.
